But imagine if Chun Li was reworked into the Tekken universe. FIghting as and against those characters means having to shift your playstyle completely. It sometimes feels like Geese, Eliza, and Akuma don't really fit in with the rest of the cast. I know people hate the way the 2D characters play in Tekken. It would be very interesting to see a how a Dead or Alive character could be Tekken-ized. Hitomi is a spunky half German, half Japanese karate girl, who I guess would sort of play like Jin and Paul mixed together with a lot of straight forward elbows and straight punches in her combos. If ever they did, though, my picks would be Hitomi or Kage Maru. I'm not sure how much of a stretch it would be for Tekken to include characters from other competing 3D fighters. Hitomi from Dead or Alive or Kage Maru from Virtua Fighter I'm mainly a King player (a bad one) but if Jaycee drops in for Season 2 as DLC, I might just start to learn new character. It was glorious to watch and even harder to play against.
#TEKKEN 7 SEASON 5 FULL#
When she took the Jaycee persona, her style became a full on mix between Lucha Libre and Chinese fighting styles. Even back when she was purely a Xin Yi Liu He Quan and Baji Quan fighter, she always had wrestling-esque throws like the Deathvalley Driver, the Northern Lights Suplex, and the Double Underhook Suplex which I always thought should've bridged into something else. I've always been fascinated with the way Julia played.
But humor me as I geek out over these characters that I really do wish would land in one of those three open slots. Everyone's got their guesses and everyone's got their own wishlists. With 3 of the 6 Season 2 characters revealed, we were all left to wonder who the rest of the cast of this DLC pack would be. ( Actually, maybe we should've started thinking that way when they introduced Noctis.) With Negan's entry into the Tekken 7 franchise, it seems like the kid gloves are off and any previous rules have been thrown out.
